The Soldiers’ Memorial is located in the northeast corner of the Veterans Memorial Park. The park features an amphitheater and the Veterans Memorial, which honors the service of the village’s residents. There is also a 9/11 memorial at the park, which was recently attended by U.S. Senator Charles Schumer and Governor George E. Pataki. Nearly 2,000 local residents attended the 9-11 memorial. To commemorate the fallen soldiers, the park features a circular water fountain and ten flagpoles. Each flagpole features an official seal.
